Installation was a little difficult especially for my age, at 72. Getting unhooked was easier than getting it hooked back up. But, I did it so I figure just about anyone can do it. Might take you a little longer than some, but that’s okay. I’ve had a some fun with it. Most of time leave it I normal 2, sometimes 3. Have tried it in all modes and man I didn’t know this sub had this much power. So great for me except getting it hooked up!

The problem I was having with my Ford Edge was that when I was merging into a gap on the highway I would press the accelerator and very little would happen, the car would slowly accelerate in the same gear and not kick down a gear. After an excessive delay and a lot more accelerator pressing, the car would finally decide that dropping a gear was required. The problem here is that more often than not, the accelerator was now on the floor and the car decides that 2 gear drop downs are required which which now causes the car to decelerate while the gears drop and then the engine screams as the gear is now too low and it changes up a gear again. By this time I have the guy I am merging in front of laying on his horn! Apart from ticking off other drivers this situation was positively dangerous. It was like my car was permanently stuck in "Old Lady Mode" I fitted a Pedal Commander and OMG, night and day! it is so refreshing to receive a product that actually does what it says it will. My car now acts like it feels it should and accelerates with zero delay and always seems to be in the right gear for what I am asking from it. No more old lady mode :) As an added bonus, while not claimed by Pedal Commander that this is a benefit, I am actually getting better fuel consumption (3-4 MPG City) since fitting the device, my guess here is that I am getting better mpg because I am no longer flooring the accelerator all the time. Ease of Fitting ***** 5 minutes max Setup ***** chose mode from app or the device = easy Would I buy it again? Let me put it this way, If I needed another one and found that the price had doubled, I would still buy it.
