The unit makes it possible to adjust the sensitivity - I ended up on settin 1 for city driving in order to get manageable starts - the pedal is still more sensitive than I would like for the initial use - but overall it much better

Wow, exactly what they promised,my mini copper S is NOT the same car I purchased, it's way better. I now enjoy driving more than before. Now lag or hesitation with the excelleration like I had before. Passing is No problem. I will purchase one for my next car for sure,thx for the upgrade, cheers.

I purchased the Pedal Commander PC-10 for my 2004 Mini Cooper S. It exceeded my expectations. The factory throttle lag is no more. Sport Mode had me unintentionally spinning tires in 1st gear. In Sport+ Mode, the throttle pedal is like a hair trigger! No, I'm not exaggerating. You won't be disappointed! It's by far made the most noticeable difference of the mods on the car. It already a supercharger 15% reduction pulley when I purchased it, so I have no basis for comparison with that mod. I installed an Alta 2% oversized crank pulley, a larger intercooler, NGK Iridium colder plugs, NGK plug wires, a larger hood scoop, and a Milltek non-resonated cat back exhaust. These all added power, but the throttle lag was still disappointing. After installing the Pedal Commander, my Mini feels more like a racecar! I will be needing to rotate tires more often. I am extremely excited to do some more spirited driving! Great product!!!

This unit does what is said about it. HUGE difference in acceleration! Slow maneuvers, especially on hills in my manual shift Mini Cooper S were horrible before the Pedal Commander! My car with some slight modifications was fast before..... However now, it is a rocket! I laugh now when getting on the freeway! The unit is compact as well and easy to use. I have it tucked forward in a little storage space on the console, or another small open storage space further back on the console. Happy motoring everyone, and drive safely :)

Pedal commander really woke up my car. In stop and go traffic, pedal commander really shines because it makes the car more responsive with very little throttle input. In wide open throttle and higher rpms, the car feels a lot more powerful.

As you know, Mini’s have a ridiculous throttle lag. It’s a shame as they’re lovely cars. So… after a lot of research and very limited funds I staggered across a Utube video where someone had installed a ‘Pedal Commander’ in a Mini Cooper. For £189 I thought ‘what the hell!!’ And bought one. The seller contacted me to advise there might be a customs tax levied on this item, as it was shipped from Germany, but it arrived sooner than expected and with no import duty. On a Mini Cooper R56 you only have one bolt to remove to release the accelerator pedal (5mm Allen key) then unclip the plug and fit the Pedal Commander between the two sockets. It took me 5 minutes! The unit , once the ignition was on, defaulted to City Mode so I left it at that and took the Mini for a spin……….OMG!!!! The difference in the throttle response was staggering! …so I tried it in all the 4 modes ( and 8 sub modes ) I’ve never ‘wheel spun’ in reverse before this is the Best and cheapest mod for any fly by wire car you could buy!!! Buy one now!!!!!!!! Hope this was helpful….. yours sincerely a new Mini owner.

Really nice product that eliminates the company programmed acceleration delay that supports the stabilization system. Less noticeable on sport mode setting, but well worth it for one desiring immediate throttle input.

The only reason I did not four star this product is because after a few months some thing happened with it. My car suddenly lost its power like the throttle wouldn't respond and I had some engine lights turn on. When I brought the car to the Mini Dealer they took off the pedal commander and my car was back to normal. On the POSITIVE NOTE: The product does exactly as advertised. The throttle response was amazing! It was like having a sport tuned car. I have a Mini Cooper Sport Hard Top 2 Door and the pedal turned a car that is already quick into a Porsche competitor. I could keep up with most anything coming off a dead stop at a light. I highly recommend this product even though it gave me trouble and I had to uninstall it. I am asking Pedal Commander for an exchange on the product I bought from them for a new one. I have received nothing from Pedal Commander for endorsing the product. It is just a great, well priced, no thinking needed, add on for sport tuning your ride.

Works as described ! Car is more responsive depending on what mode you use. A lot of compliments from friends who test drove it. Only thing is that switching back and forth may cause trouble with the proximity feature of the car.

Works really well and does what it says it does. Fun to drive and fairly easy to install. In sport plus find to be a little jerky with a turbo charged engine.

Just installed the pedal commander on my Mini Cooper Gen 2 R56 with K&N COLD AIR Intake system and the improvement with the PC is very pleasant. I use the setting Sport+ 2+ and enjoying my new power ride very much!!

After following the directions (which some people fail to do) it installed in 5 minutes in my 2011 Mini Cooper S manual with no check engine light.Eco mode is way too lethargic but city mode is perfect for what it says (especially levels 3-4), Sport is a lot of fun but Sport+ is scary especially on levels 3-4. It’s worth the money

This product is worth every penny, I am running at sport mode, sport+ is not for town driving as the response is too quick, I have fitted it to a 2005 mini Cooper S, I would recommend fitting this to any car, it gives you all the power that your car has instantly if you want or more gradule if you want, you are in full control, excellent product

I was a little skeptical at first since it is a $300 upgrade, but trust me it is WORTH it for a NA R50 mini. My mini has a K&N typhoon cold air intake, Borla Exhaust, MSD ignition coil, MSD spark plug wire set, NGK Iridium spark plugs and now pedal commander on the pedal. Easy to install, like 10mins. I would look up videos on youtube first to get an idea how to remove a BMW/MINI pedal. I drive it around in SPORT +3 simply because my car is limited in the power it can produce. There is a noticeable difference with every level. The best way tell the difference is to keep the pedal pressed (small amount) and switch up the levels to notice the changes and find the right fit for you and your commute's traffic.

The pedal Commander works great. I have a 2010 S Hardtop 6 speed manual and even in the City mode you can tell a major difference. Sport and Sport + it is like driving a different car all together. Installation is pretty easy if you have smaller fingers. If you have a Cooper you will want this.

Just installed the device which very simple; make sure your car system is shutdown to avoid "check engine" default. My Mini Roadster just woke up all the horses available, acceleration & pick up is incredible from stock mode; super!!

I have a 2006 mini Cooper s and the lag in the gas pedal was disappointing, the pedal commander was the perfect fix. I set it on city for normal driving and there is zero lag. Sport setting is too touchy in stop and go traffic but is great on the highway. I love this product!!
