I installed the pedal commander on my 3.0 Tahoe and my mileage went from 24 to 32 mpg. I also got as high as 40 mpg on a 1800 mile trip. A couple more long trips and it will pay for itself.

Wow! Bottom line up front, if you are reading this just buy it and see for yourself! Stop looking for ECU Tuners, cylinder deactivation disablers, etc. Too many time consuming options that void warranty or worse, cause problems later when it is out of warranty.
I am on my 3rd Tahoe. First one had the 350 cubic inch 5.7L engine and was awesome. Both second and third Tahoes have the 5.3L ~327 cu in engine. I have always missed the power of the 350 but my current engine with THROTTLE HESITATION made me look at Ford Expedition and their high output 3.5L V6. But the look of the Tahoe is just much tougher/cooler and my preference.
After looking at Ford and then GM ECU Tuners I finally settled on Pedal Commander. I did the research but did not believe it would perform as advertised. In fact I studied the return policy more than the specs assuming it was a gimmick. I must say that after a VERY simple installation I tested it on Sport Plus and Level 4 which is the maximum setting. All I have to say is I wish I was not wearing flip flops because my Tahoe took off and I was not prepared! Even roasted the rear tires coming out of my subdivision!
I now have it on City mode at level 4 and it is perfect for my driving style. Previously when in a turn or times when I need to accelerate in front of traffic it would hesitate and even seem to stall out a bit. Now it moves when I hit the gas pedal like vehicles are supposed to do! Especially a V8!
Huge thanks to the team at Pedal Commander! Although it did take revenue away from Ford as I am no longer looking at trading in the Tahoe. And happy to keep the V8 and rumble that comes with it.

The stock throttle response is a bit too numb. It is nice to be able to dial it in for better initial response. Great improvement in drivability by using the power that is there.

So far so good. The setup was easy one I figured out that my petal accelerator has 2 latches that have to be released prior to disconnecting the assembly. Everything was a breeze after that.

I hesitated to make this purchase because after all … I’m retired, driving a large SUV - It’s not my 427 Corvette of years past. I mentioned it to my long time mechanic and he said immediately- DO IT. It’s about throttle control and a little more fun when you are in the mood. I also realized that the benefit of control is more than I considered after towing a large trailer with it in City mode. Overall - everything you read is true… great product, simple install, immediate results… I have no regrets!!!

The pedal commander is great since it is easy to install with the plug and play wiring harness and then to up load on your phone so you can change the option with out having the controller in view so others don’t now that you have it to have the upper hand on your opponent during a race or a test on how one’s truck or car may run.

My wife has a 2010 Tahoe 5.3 that is really pretty peppy, but it has always had a lag when you step on the throttle that drives me crazy. I have been searching for years to find a way to alleviate that but all that has been available are programmers and chips that I didn`t think would address my issue. I saw the Pedal Commander on one of the Saturday morning fix it shows and knew that was what I needed. It took about 6 days to get here. Took about 15 or 20 minutes to install (and I am slow). So far it works as advertised and have not had a check engine light come on or any ill effects. My wife was really having fun driving again when we test drove it, so got a feeling the gas milage will go down somewhat.

This is by far the best accessory I've ever purchased for my 2012 Chevy 5.3L truck. Before this upgrade, I would press the pedal down with little or no response. Now my truck acts like it has 330HP. I recommend this product to anyone that is experiencing sluggish performance for the lack of pedal response.

This is my third pedal commander I’ve put them in my last three vehicles. Love it it makes such a huge difference in the throttle response love the Bluetooth feature I hide it up in the dash and control it from my phone. Really transforms your vehicle. I have a 2018 Chevy Tahoe and the throttle response was terrible not anymore!!! Really a quality item I would recommend it to anyone that wants to wake up and their vehicle

Power commander was recommended by a friend of mine, so I trusted his judgement and I purchased one. Wow!! What a hugs difference it made in my throttle response and power. I like it so much I purchased one for my 2016 Tahoe and 2011 BMW 335D. I just recommended one to a co-worker and he just purchased one for his F150. If your on the fence just get it, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought this for my 2015 chevy 2500 with the 6.2 motor. Thing was a dog. I decided to buy this to see it help. Man was I surprised. Night to day. This thing is awesome. Thing gets up and goes now. I put this in my 2018 silverado 1500 5.3 LTZ. It took about 3 seconds to install and then you have the choice to mount it or use the Bluetooth on your phone. It instantly made my truck more responsive when stepping on the gas pedal. It ''' DOES NOT INCREASE HORSEPOWER''' it takes the half second delay out of the pedal in changes shift points. It feels like i added horse power only because it is so responsive now. The Best part is this does not void your factory warranty. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PEDAL COMMANDER.

Great product, install was simple. Connections are simple. So far I had this product for 4 months and it has really made a difference in acceleration. It totally removed the lag i had on my 2013 Chevy Tahoe. I have done so much to improve power with stock engine this was just another item added and really helped out. City mode is enough for driving around you will definitely feel the difference, move it up to other settings and it becomes very sensitive to the pedal, watch out not to get a neck spasm. after reading some other reviews about shutting down and getting a check engine light and having to reset. That I have not experienced, I turn it on when I'm ready to go , I don't leave it on all the time.
