This eliminates the dead zone in the gas pedal. The first 20-30% throw of the pedal does nothing. The PC fixes this, I find city +2 the sweet spot for the settings.

The Pedal Commander is definitely worth the money if you hate the lag when hitting the gas pedal. The pedal commander eliminates the dead zone in the first 20-30% range of the gas pedal. I run mine on the city setting +2, it seems to be the sweet spot for the 2026 passport.

Overall the purchasing, installation, and customer service has been really good. It does seem the price was high. Installation was quick due to clear instructions and simplicity of hookup. The customer support was quick when I had questions. With the unit installed I can't say that it is a great improvement to the 2026 Passport but that is the vehicle not the unit. The Passport responds quickly to the pedal changes especially when in Sport+ mode but the Passport still wants to hesitate. I'm thinking it is more in the transmission response. I've had many Hondas and this model seems temporarily confused on how to respond to pedal inputs. But again, that is the model and not the pedal commander.
Then only downside I'd say on the experience was the hard plastic container the unit arrived in. It looks nice but is a cheap hard plastic and simply trying to open the container resulted in snapped off latches.

Pedal Commander turned both my Jeep Overland Hemi and my Honda Passport Trailsport into fun to drive vehicles with no throttle lag. No difference in pedal to the metal power, but huge difference in throttle response.

This thing is awesome! I noticed the difference immediately. The difference is significant I didn’t realize the lag my Passport had, but not anymore!! The Pedal Commander transformed my passport into a very enjoyable driving experience all the time now! It’s a great mod!

I ordered a Pedal Commander for my 2021 after it being highly recommended by my Honda Salesman for a little more ooomph to my take off. The order arrived in record time and packed very well and the directions for installation were very clear for easy installation. Customer Service was awesome when I called with a few questions. I highly recommend this product.
